The Challenge
As with the Doubletree Metropolitan Hotel, we were asked to manage this multi-million dollar renovation of the three story lobby while the hotel remained fully operational during the busy Fall and Winter months. We were also asked to fully renovate their restaurant space for the opening of the new restaurant "Ginger’s".
The Insight
Creative thinking, structural expertise, planned phasing and enormous amounts of coordination were prerequisites for the success of this project. Using a combination of all of these while keeping in constant communication with the hotel staff, allowed for guests to move freely with minimal disruption.
The Results
The new lobby was a huge success, and "Ginger’s" opened its doors with considerable fanfare. We have been asked back to work on new projects, and for us, there is no better measure of success.
